Anyone use Mypilottests.com before?
 

Hey, just been using this site to study for my commercial then going to for the Flight Instructor.. Just wonder if anyone has used this site and knows if it is up to date, or has any other websites for free use that they might suggest.

That's what I've used most recently. I think it's a good site, I only found one type-o in the zillions of practice tests I used, so I would say for the most part it's up to date and correct. I used to use mywrittenexam.com but they were having trouble with the commercial written and took off the flight instructor tests as well. If I remember correctly, on mypilottests, you can sort the questions to quiz yourself only on one topic area at a time if you'd like, which was a feature I liked. Oh, side-note: like mywrittenexam.com, when you use mypilottests, it will probably be helpful to have your own supplement book...

Thanks for the insight. I do have a supplement book and I love the fact it breaks it down into sections. Its like having a free, electronic version of an ASA/Gliem book..

For my private knowledge test, I used Sporty's StudyBuddy - the premium version. It cost $10 and was well worth it - I passed easily.

I use exams4pilots.com . I took full length practice tests until I scored an 85 and that's exactly what I scored on the actual exam. Considering I have used the sight for nearly a year, I can say with confidence that your score on the practice test accurately reflects how you will do at game time.

Study buddy was worth it! I used it as well for my private.

I've used mypilottests.com on my instrument and commercial writtens. It is a great free site that easily allows you to take multiple iterations of the exam. Eventually, you will be exposed to the entire bank of potential exam questions.

If I recall correctly, there is a link vicinity of the question that allows you to open the illustrations that go with the questions. It has been almost 2 yrs since I've used the site, so I do not recall what the issue was. I just remember that I prefered to have a print out of the illustrations vice trying to go between the online one and the test.

Has anyone used Study buddy or the ASA app on the iphone for their instrument written?

I got the ASA instrument written. I think its great. They recently did an update on it refreshing all of the questions. and i passed the written
