I shouldn't have said "scam". That was poor wording on my part. What I should have said is that they are not a good way to go. They are not respected in the aviation comunity. Some place like ALL ATP or even a local FBO can provide training that will be just as good, if not better, for a better price (I got my private, instrument, commercial, and multi commercial for over $10,000 LESS than what they advertise as a minimum). Their website states that the prices listed don't include additional training, if needed, so costs could be much higher than listed. Not to mention the additional costs of uniforms, drug tests, etc, etc. There are a lot of things that I really dislike about that place, and I don't have the time to list all of them, but I am sure that many others have simmilar thoughts on them as well. So, I guess they really aren't a "scam" but they are playing a part in the downfall of the aviation industry, as I see it. Just another PFT school.
This is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.

No it is a scam. It's pay for training like Gulfstream Academy and after spending your 65K for a job where you make about 1000 per month you can be left on the streets after you complete the CRJ line flying. All these programs are all designed to eliminate the need to become a CFI, if you look at all fast track programs Mesa, ATP, JetU, and others it's all about not wasting time as a CFI.
