Default Regional Jet (school) Reduced Minimums

I know there are other threads covering this topic, however most are old and do not answer the question I have.

ATP is advertising that they will guarantee you an interview with Eagle at 500/100 with the completion of this course. My question is does this actually happen? Has anyone out there actually gotten an interview lately with about these minimums?

Also it says in the letter on ATPs website that pilots must be "ATP Recommended"...

There was a guy in my interview with something near 550/100 that had done it....everyone else was 2000ish.

He got the pre offer.

A friend was just hired at Eagle after doing ATP's R-Jet course. He had 5xxTT and 100ME

I've also heard of folks who went through and did the RJ course, but did not get the "ATP Recommendation". Any out there?

FWIW keep your money. It's up to you though, but it's another way for those schools to make money. "If you build it...they will come!"

Again, do what you want.

I know 4 people personally that have done ATPs jet training. All got interviews at Eagle, but had also done at least one rating or some instructing with ATP. Two actually got picked up at eagle, one ended up at ASA after being turned down by eagle, and the fourth is still on the job hunt as far as I know. I don't know exact hours, all of them had over the 500/100, but the first three I mentioned were between 500 and 800 TT, and the fourth had 1,200 hours. I might add that they all went to the jet course before ATP started posting that 500/100 thing on their website.
