ATP coming to Daytona?
 

so i go to riddle, and the rumor around this place is that ATP is coming to good old DAB. is this true or is it in the workings?:confused:

ATP is in the bussiness of selling these dreams to kids for a rediculous cost, should fit right in with the RIDDLE hahah

Yeah,

Getting done in five months v. two years...What a ripoff.

Getting more multi time than a majority of others...What a ripoff.

Getting a job quickly, enjoying the experience (being poor, sh$t on, etc, etc, over quicker...What a ripoff.

No doubt that it is expensive.
But that is the joy of choices, you get to spend where you see fit.

ATP is coming to Daytona Beach, but they closed Pensacola and Lakeland. They already have students lined up there, but I don't think it is officially opened yet, but it will be in the really near future. I know they have the instructors lined up.

Competition is good in all fields / careers...ATPs program:
Fixed price
fixed time frame
no hidden costs
lots of ME time
excellent pass record for the motivasted / studious student pilot
best of all - good CFI jobs loggin ME time while you wait to get hired at a regional...

Good luck finding that at another school...

I went to ATP then got hit by a drunk on my motorcycle.....they took me back after cancelling (same price) and started me were i left off..i instructed at a school closer to my house but ATP is definently worth the cost..... you can go to delta academy and pay 100,000 for way less ME time and ATP is all over the country!! It was my first and last choice....when i satrted i never even flew a plane and now i am interviewing for skywest and xjt... if i didnt get hurt i would of been right seat a a year ago....Damn drunks

Maybe ATP's presence at KDAB will put CAPT out of business. That would be awesome!

ATP is half the price of ERAU. PLus ERAU is a university and ATP is a flight school. Two totally different things. Not comparable at all

CAPT is already gone, ERAU sold that spring/ over the summer. we no longer have the CAPT program. they finally realized that its sucking all the money out of the flight dept. now they say that there going to lower the prices for airplane rentals from like $155 an hour (c172 mind you) to something lower but too late i already decided to get my flight training else where.:cool:

ATP hasn't placed any instructors as off 10/2, but they do have email, phone, and fax setup for it. It will probobly start out with just a few instructors and planes. It really all depends on the demands of the customer and how many people have already show interest in going there.

i know that i saw 2 seminoles today and 2 days ago I saw there jet there at KDAB.
