Not at my airline. Sims are cheaper elsewhere. There is no free time either. Sims run 0600 to 2400 and are in maintenance the other time. You can ask, but dont expect much.

Yeah...but...you'd either have to be in your early 20's, single, no kids, no other added responsibilities and decent credit. Not the kind of job for someone living on the east coast of the US, married, with kids and commuting to Asia! Granted...I know that the industry may have some 30 something's doing that for UPSCO & FedEx, but they are few and far between.

Btw, if what you say is true and I had the opportunity presented to me, I know that there's an A-310/300 or B767...somewhere...over there...with my name written all over it!

Go get some experience. Buying a Type won't impress anyone without having time in the airplane.
