FlightSafety Vs. PanAm Academy
Hi, I'm just looking for a good flight school to go to after I leave the Army! I plan to get my PPL before I leave the Army! My original plan was to go to MPAD, but it dosen't seem like a good program (No Instructing)! What are your opinions about FlightSafety and PanAm Academy! I would appreciate if somebody that went through either flight schools could give me some information! Thank you so much!

On the flip side, if your still on AD and can find a Guard or Reserve FW unit that needs you, you may be able to get a FW slot. When they send you to the FWMEQC you can get your Commercial FW multi-engine done on the Army's dime. All of the ME time will be turbine and may give you an opportunity to work a job that will get you where you want to be sooner. The down side, you may have to do a deployment at some time. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck!

Well the only difference that i know between those two flight schools is there location. Pan am is in phoenix and flight safety is in Florida. I know that both are good schools and both offer VA training. I personnally would go to pan am becuase there are more severe clear days then in florida and in florida you have to worry about hurricanes. Pan am use to be in florida but i heard they left there because of the bad weather. But for flight training they both offer good programs and are well known thought out the industry. One last piece of advice, DO NOT GO TO ATP. ATP=BAD
