I'll be transferring with my job to the Ft Worth area and looking at options. Current CFI, CFII, MEI and I would like to continue instructing. Does the school hire part-time cfis? I'll be available Fri, Sat, Sun and evenings during the week. Also, any info about the tier system would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Depending on where you are in the Fort Worth area, you may want to check out Meacham or Spinks, even some of the strips around here as well. Denton is a little bit of a drive, let alone the fact they are going to be working on 35W for the next five years...

Did the original poster ever end up working at USAA. I just got hired on at a flight school in Addison and I live in denton. I am hesitant to work at USAA but might just do it because Im not getting any hours

I don't think many CFIs at USAA complain about getting too few hours.

Hours and too few don't belong in the same sentence about this place.

I am wondering if anyone knows on average how long does it usually take for them to reply to your application?

If it takes more than a week, contact me please. (You can use the private message function on the forum.)
