advice

What would you tell a person who always wanted to be an airline pilot, and just or is about to graduate college to do if they won 30k in the lotto?

A) Start a business with the money and invest it.

B) Use the money towards your flying career.

C) Other (please explain).

*This in no way, shape, or form, is my situation. Although i wish.:)

C.) There are countless times where I'll be driving down the interstate and see a billboard that posts the current lotto jackpot and wish that I could win.

30K would pay off about 75% of my student loans. I would do that first.

My gentle friends, I do not mean to bust up the party, but in today's world, $30,000 is really not a whole lot of money. As you move along in life and your chosen career (whatever it may be), you will have the opportunity to earn quite a bit more. However, I am not discounting what all 30K can do for anyone right this minute.

If you really want a career in aviation, you have no other debt and no dependents, then sure, invest the money in flight school. You never know about your choices until after you made the choice anyway. SkyHigh will have a different opinion, I'm sure. :) Or you can invest it in law school and like me, fly because it's fun.

Invest, Invest, Invest, Invest, Invest, Invest, and not in flight traning.

I would buy land, or start a business. The payoff is waaaaaaaaaaaay down the road in aviation. A little money invested right when you are young, will net you a lot more in the long run. (Does that rime?)

Yeah like he said, 30k is peanuts in the real world. But its a start.

Btw, flying for an airline is not all that fun. Do something that pay's well, then you have freedom to do what you love.

c: Stay in school and get your Masters degree. Over the course of your working life, it should prove more valuable than any of the other options that have been mentioned.

If you win the lotto the answer is easy. You spend half on wine women and song and just blow the rest.

Yeah you cant go wrong with a masters degree. Just dont wast your time with all those worthless aviation degrees.
Education is good.
I agree 30k on a education is a good start. Just think invest now......

Or you could go buy a big truck and inpress some rich hot girl and talk her into marrying you.:D
