Default Help!

As stated on one of these threads, you are not supposed to add Simulator time to total time. Going through my logbook after seeing this I noted a difference between my total time and my SEL+MEL time because my instructor added sim in as my total time from early in my training. Therefore it has thrown my entire times off by a good bit. How shall rectify this if i am to apply to the regionals? Should I allow them to find the difference themselves? How will this effect me in filling out apps and in hiring? Thanks for your help in advance.

Just make an adjustment to your total time and initial it...however they probably wouldn't notice. I had some time in helicopters that I logged as total time, but it wasn't in the ASEL/AMEL colums. Expressjet checks that, but Pinnacle didn't.

Yeah, just make a single entry subtracting out th error amount, and note why.

Most airlines look at that kind of stuff, and they expect you to take the time to add up your books correctly.

Whatever you do, make it look neat. And if you're asked about it in an interview, just be honest about it. They probably won't slap you since it was so early in your training.
