Faa atpl

Hello everybody,

I work and live in Asia. I really want my FAA ATPL now, as I work here based on my FAA certificates.

Are there any FAA designated pilot examiners here in Asia? What about the written exams?

I have googles a lot and been on the FAA website as well, but it is very difficult to find the answers. If anybody knows something, please let me know.

Thanks.

The only testing centers in Asia are at the flying clubs for Osan and Kadena Air Bases. Looks like there's one DE on Guam and one at Kadena.

Depending on where you are located it might cheaper (and probably easier) just to go to to Hawaii. There are plenty of flight schools and examiners there.

The examiner at Kadena probably does all his work at the military flying club, and it might be the same at Guam. It could be tough to make arrangements for instruction and aircraft use at a military club.

If you can come to seattle we are doing it cheap

Thanks for your help all.

I am working in Indonesia. I thought there would be a place in Singapore, but I am not able to find anything on FAA website.

Japan or South Korea would be the easiest one I believe. Travelling all the way to the US would be a little too expensive though.

The SIN and FRA FAA offices are maintenance only. But there is a testing center on Guam also, right by PGUM. It's just listed by city name (Barrigada) and I thought it was somewhere in Spain.
