The BEST college flight school?
I am a junior in high school with a cumulative 3.95 GPA. My SAT score is 2310. What are schools that I can get into that have a good flight program? I am hoping to become an airline pilot in the future and I am willing to make terrible money if that is part of the journey. I have 68 hours logged with my PP. My father is also an executive at Boeing, will this make my chances easier? Plus I have asthma if this will make things harder?
*A school that can give me a commercial license with my time there, and preferably an opportunity to double major in case I get laid off.*

My opinion is: Don't waste your money going to a special flight college. Do yourself a favor and go to a state university for a non aviation degree. Get your CFI and instruct on the side while in college. By the time you graduate, you should be looking good. And please remember, get a degree in something along the line of a trade, not just an education, such as History vs Engineering. It's your ratings and time that get you a pilot job, not the place of study.

There is no such thing.
If you REALLY want to impress someone..attend your local community college online or through night classes while working full time. At the same time, pay cash for your ratings while maybe putting a few dollars in the bank. Bonus points if you network. Unless your dad is in tight with airline executives and they have a reason to owe him any favors, it likely won't help.
And yes, I am being serious. I have flown with literally countless pilots who went to absurdly priced colleges and carry in excess of 100k in debt. The ones who really impress me are the ones who simply checked the 4 year degree box and flew a ratty 152 for 200 hours at $75/hr.

The best University with a flight department is one without a flight department. This conclusion based on what I've read here.

You want to college to be a great experience! If you really want an aviation degree, who am I to try and talk you into an engineering degree. 3 rules. 1. Go somewhere that is warm (flight schools up north in the winters are usually grounded due to icing), 2. Go somewhere with a good ratio of guys/gals (Embry riddle definitely out!), 3. Go somewhere you can enjoy a great football game on Saturday nights. Auburn University, and Louisiana Tech University fit those three categories pretty well, both have good aviation programs, and won't break the bank, Good luck.

Go to ASU, have fun, party your rear off, do stupid sh**, get a business degree and take flying lessons (if you can stay sober) during the summer. This should help convince you:
Compare that to Embry Riddle:
