Anybody know what its like to be a student here? lots of opinions from employees on other threads but curious what an American student could expect if going IR through CFII/MEI. are there any Americans in this path? do they offer employment if you do training with them? trying to help a friend find a good fit.

While I can't speak personally to an experience training here as an American student, I do know that a few of the instructors there also did there training there and had nothing but good things to say. If your friend were to enroll in the FAA (read:american) program there, they would most certainly hire him/her at the completion of training (provided no excessive checkride failures and such.) TPac is a highly highly structured 141 school and may not be a good fit for some, but for the few that I know that did there training there, they have been happy with their training. FWIW, I worked there as a flight instructor and they hold students to an extremely high standard compared to the school I taught at prior to there. Your friend will get their money's worth.
