Will I get into UND or Embry Riddle?

I have a 3.85 GPA right now and I scored 2250 on the SAT. What are my chances to get into their flight programs?

The best way to find the answer to that question would be to talk to their respective admissions departments.

Also, if you're interested in aimlessly throwing money around, throw some my way too.

It sounds like you're plenty smart, and if your checkbook is big enough you shouldn't have a problem getting accepted.

However, since you're smart, please read through the hundreds of threads on this forum that address the return on your training investment. You'll find that entry level piloting jobs and the associated career progression simply don't justify taking on training debt. As a homework problem, calculate payments on a 15 year loan for $125,000 at 8% interest. Then budget that payment around a $1,500/mo. entry level income.

You can get in, just be sure you know what your getting into.

He's right, your plenty smart so forget about either one and get on a fast track program and build time as quickly as possible. It's all about timing in this business.

The admission standards to ERAU seem to be can you write a check. (Riddle grad)

Do you have at least a G.E.D.? If so you are good to go.

Friends don't let friends go to ERAU.

Unfortunately N1CE won't listen the the hundreds of threads already spouting hard earned and lived advice, or even reading the responses in the threads s/he has already started addressing this issue.
NONE of the money advice will make it between the ears because as the poster has said already in another thread:

Is Aviation college worth it?

My parents simply tell me not to worry about being in debt, because they pay for my college. That is their decision, they have sent me to a private school all my life and they care about me doing what I love doing. I am looking into Perdue, UND, and Embry Riddle for their credible aviation programs. I am planning on double majoring there, so yes, I will have a backup plan in case all else fails. I will likely do a second major in business. But is aviation college worth it, do they make my life easier in becoming an airline pilot?
I'd say that degree in business is already on rocky footing and you probably shouldn't mention it to any fellow students or professors! ;)
