Default Sierra Academy of Aeronautics

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone has been through the standardization process at Sierra Academy in Atwater. Any details or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll keep you guys updated on the process as well. Thanks

Well, when I went thru there years (5+ ago), it was VERY rigorous. You had to know EVERYTHING there was to know.

Study hard, and do good work. That is all I can say.

Day 1
Tour of the operation
Day 2
Test... Open book and heavy on IFR regulations. It's pretty easy don't worry.
Day 3
Flight test. They will give you a couple maneuvers to teach. I didn't make it this far. I quit after day 2.
