General Question....

I am going to finish with Instrument, Commercial and Multi at a 141 university and leave to get CFI at a 61 flight school or a 141 that i can find in my area. OR wait a little longer and go to school and gain hours on the side.

Is it 'okay' to go from getting IFR, Commercial and multi at a 141 University school, then maybe go back to a 61 school for CFI. Since i noticed ATP doesn't offer the CFI ground, i guess it is OK?

Right now i have the Aviation major and im looking to avoid it now. Doesn't really help me if something outrageous happens.

He was titanium!!

All jokes aside we covered the commercial maneuvers in the private/instrument course a few times so that they were not a surprise when we got to comm single ad-on.

Another question:

I did my PPL in a 141 school, am looking into doing my instrument rating at a part 61 school, then going back to 141 for my CPL. However, my 141 school just told me when I return I would have to do my CPL under part 61.

Does that make any sense? I don't see why I would have to do Instrument part 141 to do CPL part 141.

Dl, the 141 course inst/comm could be a combined (all in one) course, and the school might not have a stand alone instrument or comm. you need to ask these questions at the school. Just tell them you are not understanding why.
