I was. No real schedule; it always changed. One week (Initial week) you might work M-F. Next week (Recurrents) you might do M-Sat (M-W with one group, Th-Sat with a new group), next Recurrent maybe they take it easy on you and you only work 3-4 days, then 5 days again. It's all over the place. Hours all over the place, too: 0500 start one week, next week finish at midnight or later.
Not a bad job as you're home every night, but there's a LOT that goes into that job. Lots of paperwork and training (for you). I'd do it again if I had to, but glad I'm back flying.
ETA: Wanted to clarify that you WILL work weekends. I was fortunate to be in a program (KA90) that typically only had Saturdays so we could usually plan Sundays off. Other programs ran through the weekend. They tried to get us 8 days off per month, and I "think" two weekends off a month. It probably varies by Center and program.
