Default Permanent Address - matching documents?

I am getting ready to do my multi engine rating and have a question about matching addresses on my certificates vs govt. photo ID.

My pilot certificate and medical list the same address as it is my permanent address. However, I have been living out of state the last two years and now have a different drivers license (govt. photo ID) that lists a different address/state. Will I have trouble with IACRA and/or approval from the FAA for the finalization of the rating?

I've heard some people say all 3 documents need to match?

Thanks!

You have sent the FAA your change of address, haven't you? There are lots of people running around with different addresses on their medical and pilot certificate.

The only problem I ever had was when I went to take the written. The DPE just wants to make sure you have updated your address with the FAA.

There is an address change form on FAA.gov.

If you have one, your passport doesn't have an address on it and its considered acceptable.
