Default New England Tech?

Just curious if anyone has gone through any training at New England Tech in Rhode Island or know anyone who has? Trying to get the pros and cons!

They offer an AA in Aviation Science that (from what their site says) includes the flight training from PPL through CFI and multi eng CFI and you can take the test there for your ATP once you get to 1500. Which is perfect considering im using VA GI Bill benefets (no loans!!!!) and then after your done with your AA you can transfer to get your BA (while still having VA benefits left over for 1 more year..so getting a 4 yr degree with 1 year of student loans (that doesn't include flight training just school and could possible get a federal grant) sounds pretty good to me

Just be aware the cost of living is high in the New England area. Check out Spartan aviation in Oklahoma and others.

Also, we have a lot of crap flying weather here. Perhaps you do better in AZ.

I lived in RI & went here in MA in the late 1990s while doing Army ROTC & the RIARNG. I had the Guard's tuition assistance pay for almost all of it with ROTC helping out too.
