ME rating by XMAS- help!

:eek: Someone out there-- please tell me where I can get my ME rating (in a PA44) by Xmas?? I already have 20 hours in a seminole, and no ME rating yet. It doesn't help that I live outside the US and I have done all my ME flying in the Pacific NW, where the weather tends to be bad and the 5000ft ceilings my school requires for engine out procedures are hard to find. So it seems every time I am making progress with the training it is time to come back home (i.e. leave the country) and then I have to pick off where I left off and then some when I next return. I am really sick of this, and I just really want to get the rating out of the way ASAP. I have quite a bit of information put together on the Seminole systems, so I would rather stay in that plane if possible. Where should I go?! I really want to get it done within a one week time frame, and obviously I need to go somewhere with decent weather this time of year. Help!!!!!! PS: My goal is to be a professional pilot, and I have my private and 130 hours TT time now. Thank you for your replies folks!

If you want to stick with the semiole ATP is your best choice for the no nonsense, get in and get out rating. The others are good choices as well to just get the rating.

ATP usually needs some advance notice, so if you decide to go that route (which I would recomend) then you should call them ASAP.

USMC-sgt and AVIVIII thanks for the replies. Are there any other options besides ATP if I don't want to switch planes? Since I already have the materials for and have been studying the Seminole systems, I would like to complete the rating in that plane. Any mom and pop type places out there someone can think of?

ATP uses the seminole exclusively, nationwide for all of their training

I know I know, but I was wondering if there is anywhere else *besides* ATP. I have been to check out ATP and I am not so sure about it.... so I was hoping there might be other options. Thanks.

I got my multi at Sheble. It is a good operation. Sean Sheble is a good instructor there. It is a little rough around the edges, but a good school. Also, if you go to Kingman, stay away from from the crazy toothless hookers.

If you've already got 20 hours in a Seminole, go to any FBO that has a PA44 and operates under Part 61. You should be able to finish your rating in a week or less.
