Don't know exactly, but it depends on what level of certificate. For a private, you're looking at around 15 hours. For a commercial, closer to 60-70. For an ATP, whatever the mins are.

61.109, 61.129 and 61.161 list the times required for a helicopter private, commercial and ATP. You're a 9000 hour ATP and you can't find this?

Get a solo sign-off and go right for the commercial. You have to do the add-on knowledge tests. Get the CFI and get some blade time, and then return for the IR add-on.

FWIW, F/w time means little or nothing if you want a job. It'll help for an IFR position, but those require 2000+ r/w time.

9,000+ hr ATP'r and this is a question?
I call shenanigans.

There are no add-on knowledge tests for any add-ons except for the CFI-H and ATP. Once you have a certificate at the Private and Commercial level or an Instrument Rating you do not have to take the written test again.

Yea I see that wasn't written well. Those two plus the CFII were the ones I was thinking about, not an IR. etc. written.
