Instrument Written Test Bank

I'm getting ready to take my instrument written next week. (Finally, now that the "shutdown" is over). I've been using the FAA Knowledge Test question bank to practice/study. Does anyone know where I can find the correct answers to go along with these? I'd like to check my answers to make sure I'm actually getting these right...

Just use the gleim. Never failed me in 7 or so tests.

That's the go to method.

Get the book with the questions and answers. Also get the CD that goes with it. It's available from Gleim, ASA, Etc. I prefer ASA just due to the type of paper it's printed on. Go through every page highlighting the correct answers. The answers for each question are found at the bottom of each page. Don't start reading the questions, Etc. just highlight the correct answers; it might take you two or three days... after you have done this; start at the beginning, reading only the questions and their highlighted answers. DON'T even look at the other possible answers! Go through the book twice using this method. Then use the CD to take practice tests. When you are regularly scoring in the high nineties, go take the test. Your short term memory is pretty incredible but will only last for a few days. You will want to take the test very soon after the last study session. Just make sure you actually know the material and have done the REAL STUDYING, at least prior to taking the practical test with the examiner/inspector... Good luck

+1 for gleim....never even came close to 70%

I used the Jepp prep books those have most the questions and the answers with explanations.
Also if you have an Ipad or Iphone the ASA App is really good for prepping and taking practice tests.

Sheppard Air is the way to go

I only ever used the gleims, but anyone I've ever encountered that's used the sheppard and something else suggest the sheppard.

I used sportys study buddy and it worked fine for both instrument and commercial, and it is free!

I also believe the FAA changed all of the test questions for private and INstrument.

They are more senario based is what i've heard
