Nice... Mine was in a Schweizer 2-33. I think I looked over my shoulder about ten times during the flight to look at the empty seat behind me.

My first powered solo was in a mighty C-172 where in the middle of a pattern the CFI was like, hey - just taxi over to the FBO after you land and drop me off.. have fun. I'm thinking - is he serious??

T38 initial solo perched way too tight and got the STALL warning in the HUD, nothing that a little AB and go-around couldn't fix. Only time I've ever seen that one.

First solo in a fighter the crewchief asked if I was okay due to some excessive heavy breathing. I'm like - UH OF COURSE - YOU'RE CLEARED OFF!!

Zwestwood - congrats. It's a fun memory. If you stay in aviation you will have about a million more in the years to come.
