About 60 hours in 2 years. Not quite sure on the cost, I worked at the FBO I took lessons from so my paycheck went straight to my flying account, and I flew at a discounted rate because I worked there. Took a two years because I was still in High School, so I could not fly as often as I wanted to.

3 years, 80 hours, probably $6000.
Working full time, w/ time out for military leave and injuries.
I spent about a year of that just doing fun solos in the local area... Eventually decided it would be better if I could bring my GF along, so I went ahead and finished it up...

6 weeks, 6000 bucks (2001 dollars), 37.5 hours (it was a 141 program before you start telling me that's not possible).
Having said that, I've had private students go for their ride from 41-150 hours. The 150 finally gave up...I transfered her to another instructor after 55 hours and no solo, he flew with her for 50 or so more and gave her to an assistant chief instructor...he still couldn't get her through and she finally quit.
National average is 65 hours.
