Question Flight Schools that offer JAR certificates in the US

Hello everybody,
this information is not for me, as I am planning on flying in the US and am a citizen. A friend of mine would like to do his ratings in the US, but fly in Europe. I have told him about all the negative sides but he would like to do so. I remembered that I had read here, some flight schools would offer JAR (European) ratings. Could you name some please? I would then give him the names to do some research on.

Thank you very much in advance, I appreceate your effort!

Best wishes and blue skies to you all!

Regards
Jakob

a simple google search came up with the following:

http://www.ukft.com/

http://www.naples-air-center.com/faa_course.htm

Looks like they both offer JAA training, but i'm probably not much help to you because I really know nothing about those 2 schools. If anything you could have your friend call them to find out more information.

Search for JAA in Canada revealed the following:

http://www.harvsair.com/site/services/jaa-training.html

Give them a call even if you don't live near them, they probably know other schools that offer JAA training, or atleast some insight on how it works.

Try Florida Flight Training Center in Venice, FL. They have a lot of Europeans doing training there; maybe they can help you.
