Commercial Multi Initial
Looking for an accelerated CMEL initial program, seriously considering Prairie Air Service in KS or Air America in FL, anyone with experience at either? Would like to take off work in December and kick it out in under two weeks, any suggestions appreciated.

Haven't talked to Herb for a while, but his school Prairie Air Service is the place to go for any aspiring professional. He is a hands down master of the art of flying and master aviation teacher, if you go there like an empty cup you'll come away with ideas and techniques that will last a career. He is not easy though, if you want easy flight tickets with minimal effort and not much more then choose another place.

Just got my CMEL yesterday. I did the 15hr ATP program at KRDU. I highly recommend. They also offer a less expensive 10hr program. The instructors know how to prepare you for the check ride. If your'e instrument proficient, the shorter course is probably sufficient; I did the longer course to ensure I was prepared (I was overly prepared). Come to the training with all the ground info memorized, that way you can focus on flying and spend extra time in the sim (which I was able to use as much as I wanted). I also did a lot of chair flying before the training, which benefited me immensely. Happy to answer any questions about my experience. Good luck.
> Just noticed you said "initial." I'm sure they have an initial course and I would still recommend.
