I asked about the CFI placement at ATP. The person I spoke to told me he will have to wait roughly two weeks while working at the call center and have to attend some classes. At the most, in 4 weeks total he will be starting to instruct. And he said absolute will start working with 2 months, the 2 months is the question I had.
About locations he told me everyone give them 3 choices, and if they don't give them one of the 3 places, they can get transfer if one of those 3 places get open up later on.
He also told me he believe the average hours build per month as an CFI at ATP is about 60-80hours. He think he will get to regional with in 2years.

ATP huh?
I guess the ship has started to spring a leak? took it long enough
You have to remember. A good many airline pilots learn to fly at a university, where they took semester long classes on aircraft engines, meteorology, aircraft systems alone not just private pilot ground or instrument ground. These classes were lecture(not online) with a professor who issued homework, quizzes, test that were not multiple choice; required research papers, and class presentations. So you may have to be little patient when you tell them that you went zero to hero in 100 days and they go ***
