References for School in San Diego, CA.
Hi everyone,
I am from Mexico and currently under PPL training which I expect to complete by Feb - Mar 2015; then I like to go to USA and convert my PPL into FAA and continue the training there for the instrument and commercial ratings...
Right now I´ve been searching around for flight schools near to Campo, CA 91906 since I have family there and would at least not spend money in accommodation, so the school I am looking at is California Flight Academy - Training Career Pilots Since 1989 This is a 141 part school that being from Mexico is the only option I have and I would like to hear from you any reference to the school.
Thanks.
greeting from Mexico.
Emmanuel

Coast Flight Training | San Diego Flight School | Airline Pilot Training
Tell Will I sent you. They are the most professional group you will find in SD. Don't inquire if you are looking for a puppy mill; they train professional pilots only. May cost more but you will be prepared.

Pinnacle aviation has been awesome for me so far. Great planes, instructors, and service.

this +1
I moonlighted there while in the military and they are far above all others at Montgomery Field in SD. THey are the only school that flies the Cirrus, the only school with a fleet age younger than you, and the only school where you will fly a glass cockpit the entire time you train. I did my research when I was looking to CFI somewhere and while they do cost the most, I believe they are the best.
Almost forgot! They also have a program where they teamed up with a local college and Sky West where you can get your undergrad degree and certified all the way up to your commercial ticket with a guaranteed JOB with The Flight school once you are done so that you can build hours AND A JOB with Sky West once you get 1500 hours and your ATP. I haven't worked there in 6 months so I don't know if this has changed but it's worth looking into.
Best of luck!
