CTP ATP Course - Aerosim Vs Sportys

So there are only a small handful of approved locations to take the CTP, for those of us not fortunate enough (or foresighted) to take it before last August.

So my question would be about feedback from folks who have taken it at either one of these locations. The bonus to

Aerosim is they offer the written test after and its included, but its also 500 dollars more total.

Aerosim is 5000 and Sportys is 4500
Orlando vs Ohio... hmmm.. scenery is no comparison, but im not going to hang out...

Thanks

Yea, Im looking into PSA and right now they arent giving any information about providing it or paying for it. It says on their website that you must have it completed prior to interview, but Ive heard they will actually interview before you get it, you just cant get a start date until thats complete.

There are some rumors floating around that they may offer it in the future, but not sure how far. Also, another rumor was that now that Air Wisconsin is approved, they were going to provide it to all the AAG Wholly Owned regionals. I dont know how accurate that is, but it would be great news.

FlexNinja - did you decide on a provider for the ATP CTP?

If so, how did you make your decision?

I just completed the Aerosim course. I think the affiliation with JetBlue probably sets it apart from the Sporty's course. The simulator training was top-notch.

Go with Aerosim.

A proven product, proven track record, streamlined (no waste of time) course, all instructors airline or former airline, and the JetBlue facilities are top-notch. You'll learn alot, in addition to what's needed to "pass the written".

Plus, Orlando anytime is fun.

Does anyone know of a CTP course near LAX, Long Beach, or SNA?
