Default iPad Mini - backup battery

Anybody have any suggestions for a good backup battery with tons of life (ideally will be able to charge the iPad mini at least 2 or maybe 3 times) that won't knock out comm/nav radios (apparently that's an issue with some of them like this one: http://www.sportys.com/pilotshop/ipa...d-battery.html)?

Tried using a 14W solar charger and it charged a friends iPad 1, but won't charge my iPad Mini or iPhone 6.

Anybody have experience with Anker? This seems like the answer to my question, great price too...

Amazon.com: Anker Astro E7 Ultra-High Capacity 25600mAh 3-Port 4A Compact Portable Charger External Battery Power Bank with PowerIQ Technology for iPhone, iPad, Samsung and More (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

They make good stuff. I have two of their batteries. I use a 13000 mAh one to charge my phone during flights, no issues. Bonus: it has a built-in LED flashlight.

Anker works great and seem to be a good product. Just don't drop it, bad things happen when you drop it.

I went to radioshack and bought a $30 backup battery...haven't used it once, but it's charged and ready to go in case I need it. I don't see the point in buying some fancy expensive "pilot backup battery" when any backup battery works just fine and will be half the price

I have the second generation of the RAVPower external battery (link below) that was recommended to me by an electrical engineer friend. I use it when flying with my iPad Mini and it's now one of the most important things in my flight bag. I picked it up for $29.99 last year when they were having a sale, but would easily pay up to $50 for it again.

not "any backup battery" will work "just fine" when it knocks out your radio communications...

Looks like a nice option. I'm super happy with the 25600 mAh Anker I bought though, capacity has never left me wanting for more juice.
