Chicago Area Rentals and Currency
 

Been out of aviation for over 12 years, prior aviation experience was 121 flying in a turbo prop. Thinking about coming back into the industry buy would like to get my BFR and IPC and some currency back and comfort prior to doing any interviews.

Anyone have any recommendations of rental aircraft or instructors (airline pilots that still do it on the side). Any insight would be appreciated.

Preferred airports would be KDPA (DuPage), 06C (Schaumburg) or worse case KPWK (Puakwakee).

I am training out of Griffith Merrillville and have been extremely happy with the operation thus far.

You can try FSX Chicago. It's a great school, great guys and you can find there charters or aircraft rental.
