I think you are going to find that in order to get these hours you are going to have to take a significant pay cut than what you make as an Officer in the Military. I am training to fly as a second career and have already accepted the fact that I will making less as what I made as an O-4 in the Air Force for at least the next 10 years.

Hi all - I am offering $45 per hour, wet, in a C-172. You have to wear a hood or foggles so you can log PIC. I am renting the plane to build time but need some company. The plane is in Maryland (near Baltimore) at a flight school.

I am a CFI building time towards my ATP and have 1,200 hours but I'm tired (and bored) of flying cross-country flights by myself.

I pay the school $145. You pay me $45. Cash only.
