Default Is the MEI worth the money

I'm currently a CFI CFII flying in DFW and I'm interested in adding on my MEI. I currently have 950TT with 50 multi and 600 duel given. My biggest question is would it be worth the money to invest in this add on being so close to 1500 hours? I'm currently flying around 110 a month and will be at the golden 1500 mark this summer. Just looking for some advice.

If your goal is a regional, no it is not worth it since you already have the multi time. If you want to go 135 or 91 route, the more multi time the better so it'd probably be worth it then.

This. I didn't get my MEI. You only need 25 multi for a regional if 121 is the route you want to go.

Flying 110 hours a month??? haha. Keep flying brother. I never got my MEI. I am assuming you want to come to the regionals? Yeah if so, definitely save your $$$

Considering you are flying 110 hrs and in DFW I would assume you are in Denton? I usually would recommend if you can get it fairly quickly, easily, and cheaply to just do it. You never know when you could use the fall back if something happens in this industry. All you need to do is train to proficiency. When I did it in Denton the school gave me a discount for the airplane, offered beer for instruction from a buddy and it was done fairly cheaply and easily...

However, you absolutely do not need it to get into the regionals...
