Question about certificates

Here goes...end state is MEI
I have CFII in ASEL... And CMEL (with a centerline restriction--UPT).. What's the best way to get there .. To get an MEI
My research yields 5-10hrs in Aztec... Seneca and then a check ride ?
Thanks for insight ... The FARs get me in a turning argument with the regulations

You want to add on a multi engine instructor? Take the training, take the checkride. How long will it take? That's up to you.

You'll need the centerline thrust restriction removed from your commercial.
