All ATP's for ATP written?

Has any one here used All ATP's for their ATP written. I just can't seem to get going with the whole self study thing for the written. I used Aviation Seminars for all my other writtens, but they don't offer the ATP. Just curious what people thought. I am used to a two day ground school with the written at the end of the second day. Is one day enough for the ATP, and does their course work?

Thanks for the help,:)

I had the same problem. Its worth the money.

If you just want to pass the test, ATP will get you there. If you want to learn the material and be able to answer any of the questions a two weeks later, not so much.

I used them for both the ATP written and FE written (All ATP's) near Atlanta. It was awesome. Get in, get out. Life is too short to spend studying hours for the BS questions in there.

Good luck!

PS...there is actually about 2% info that you may need in the future from those tests/courses, especially for a 121 carrier. I always keep a FAR/AIM in my flight kit and grab it when I need it.....performance is automated and we have a meteorologist on staff 24/7.

I agree with A330Checkairman-

Did the AllATP course in 2005. No studying within 6 months of the course (but did have almost 5 years of airline flying). Walked in, paid for the course, and sat in front of the computer for 4 hours. Took a break for lunch, came back and studied for 2 more then took the test. Got a 94%. Worked for me, and certainly was good enough for government work!

Don't waste the money. Just get the book and forget about the B1900, DC9, 737, 727, Part 135 and IFR flights chapters. No sense studying calculations when you can figure it out on the test or just guess on them; there won't be that many of them on the test. Just study everything else and you will get a good score.

I took it last week at atp and got a 94% on it. They eliminate all the redundant questions and it ends up being a bank of about 580+- questions rather than the 1800 in the red book.

you start at 8am and got until 6pm, but if you feel your ready you can take the test, i finished up about 3pm.

i reccomend it if your short on time or just wanna get it done..:D

I used All ATP's several years ago for my ATP and FE written and highly recommend them. Very painless. They are not in the business to teach you the material. They are there to get you to pass the test. Your airline will teach you what you really need to know. Well worth the money!

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I am just going to do it after I get back from BWI next week. I have tried to study but I thinK I would rather do any thing but fire up the program and start. This way it will force me to just get it over with.

On a side note wich one(135/121) did you take. I fly a 91.0 Lear 45 part time but have been thinking about putting in an app at XJT. So should I take the 121 one, or will it matter if I take the 135?

Again, thanks for all the help.:)

I did the 4 day course at All ATP's for my ATP. Took both the ATP and FE written on back to back days. I agree with all the above posts. However, I recently had to retake the FE written as it had expired and used Sheppardair.com. It was only $75 and they do the same thing All ATP's does by removing the Q's you won't see on the tests...Same prep, less $, and from your home computer...I got thru the 50 Q test in 30 min with a 100%. I think they have a money back guarantee.:)
