Update on Foreign Outifts Hiring FAA ATPs
Just doing some research lately. I can't find anyone other than Emirates and ANA/Air Japan hiring U.S. pilots that do not have a type rating. Is this true?
I know Etihad MIGHT hire but you are required to have a type rating or time in type in the A320, B777 or B787.
What happened to Qatar, and Singapore airlines? SIA is showing that you must have Singaporean citizenship to apply.
What about Cathay Pacific?
China contractors typically want time in type as well.
Does anyone know anything different? Any other good foreign outfits to apply too?

There are a few gigs that will hire non-rated DEC and DEFO with an ICAO license (and that of course includes the FAA ATP) the thing that varies is the previous experience they require.
If you post your background, it might help to narrow your choices

Check out the non type rated gig for EVA Air NTR777 job through GPS aviation or APAS. They are hiring non typed FOs. Many of my colleagues are there with just CRJ experience.
Peach in Japan via Parc is hiring non type rated captains.

Age 60+, Where To Go?
Turn 60 this year, this great gig in Shenzhen likely to end. Current 757/767. 744 type. FAA ATP + Medical. CAAC also, but probably will have to leave China.. Thinking about Corporate! Buy a type rating? Where would you guys start looking? What would you guys do?

No..., I didn't. The regulation has indeed changed but many companies have not adopted it...., not sure about Spring or Peach but I know that neither Air Japan, NCA nor Vanilla have adopted the age 68..., in these outfits it is still age 65

Yes the 0ver 65 is also Company dependent... IBEX, Peach, Spring Japan and ANA Wings on the DCH8 are currently allowing pilots to fly past 65 not sure of any others... The first class at Spring were guys from Solaseed who where approaching 65... ANA Wings last Expat left in Dec he was 64, they have been trying to recruit but so far have been unsuccessful...
Not sure of the original posters quals and from the sounds he is a bit older, ANA Wings may be a option... Money is a bit lite but better than USA RJ deals... A/C are super clean/mx excellent... ITM/Osaka is a nice city, spent 5 months there after 3/11... They have a follow on deal with Peach for the 320 trans... Of 11 wings guys going 10 have successful... Checkout Crew for a application... Now direct contract with Wings... Agencies just recruit...
