Anyone know anything about Skymark Airlines?

Keep getting emails from Rishworth about these guys. They're looking for non-typed captains for the 737 in Japan. Anyone on here work there? Any information on QOL and so on?

In my opinion they are a bit sketchy. At one point they had ordered six A380s and had five or six A330s. I know a guy who left China to go fly A330s for them but lost his job before finishing training when they went bankrupt and disposed of the A330 fleet. I have no idea how they are doing recently, but their history has been very unstable.

The above post is correct but last year ANA and the Freight company Chron Nogate invested in buying out 51% of SKY.... they negotiated with Airbus and the leasing companies and took delivery of the 3 A380's and the 5 A330's thus eliminating the penalties and stabilizing SKY.

I don't work there mind you but for what a couple of friends there are telling me, things have improved in recent times because of the new owners.

But in aviation, that is just this week's news.
