Default Westjet jumpseat vs. ZED for U.S. pilot

Trying to get on WS from LAX to YVR soon. Would there be a difference in boarding priority between a ZED fare and a Pilot Commuting jumpseat request? I ask because the loads are tight and I am weighing complimentary/reciprocal against about $80 in fare+tax. Hoping the priority is the same, but that's impossible to decipher via myIDTravel. Furthermore, I hope for a scenario that allows me to check-in at the gate podium and not the ticket counter outside security, carry-ons only.

By the way, myIDTravel shows "Listing Class" as "ZL" for purchasing a ZED, and "RECIP PILOTS" for a pilot commuting.

Thanks for any insight you can offer.
