Just like in 2009, there will be no shortage of furloughed european pilots with jet experience. Seeing the severity of this crisis, they (gulf companies) may even have way more candidates than they did back then.
All of this is assuming their traffic/load factor is getting back up as well...

Itís very interesting when you see how much more of a ďgigĒ job it is for much of the rest of the world. Spend a few years at various operators depending on your type, way less of a multi-decade longevity at legacies compared to what we see here.

Doubt they are going to have any staffing shortages for the foreseeable future because of demand and a glut of pilots. Even if they slashed pay/benefits, there would probably be an enormous amount of applicants.

Late to the game here but Iím calling BS on Dylan... you do realize that APC archives all your posts right? How did you go from an aspiring pilot to a 2 year regional CA in a matter of months? Get out of here. Thereís always plenty of room for questions for aspiring aviators, but thereís no room in this industry for liars.

EDIT: I said months.. but should have said days? Four days to be exact. Wow.. if this is true please share your secret. Weíve all been doing it wrong!

I mean what's worse-
The fact that he's lying about his RJ time?
or
The fact that you're stalking his APC posts?

not exactly stalking if itís an anonymous name on a public forum....

but regardless, no. I read this thread earlier in the year and remembered the user name when I stumbled across it again in a different one.

I would say itís sad people have to lie on an anonymous forum. Checking his post helps keep him a little honest and helps not waste people time trying to help

He also doesnít have a clue about FedEx and UPS patterns. The best place for a person with his desires ( just not him as he is a liar) would be Kalitta. Once you tire of the world travel then go to Fed or UPS and make that bank. I was at K4 for 9 of the best years of my flying life. Unfortunately mandatory retirement got me after 3 great years of fantastic pay. I grossed well north of 1 million my last 3 years combined. All while flying great aircraft to great places with great crews. Best kept secret in aviation
