Just like in 2009, there will be no shortage of furloughed european pilots with jet experience. Seeing the severity of this crisis, they (gulf companies) may even have way more candidates than they did back then.
All of this is assuming their traffic/load factor is getting back up as well...

It’s very interesting when you see how much more of a “gig” job it is for much of the rest of the world. Spend a few years at various operators depending on your type, way less of a multi-decade longevity at legacies compared to what we see here.
