Thumbs down

I'm sure the inflight service will be stellar...

Will there be a minimum number of cats each pilot will be required to get?

Somebody remembered the last bigger cabin crew dispute at BA apparently. During that time ground crew and pilots crossed the picketing line and flew as cabin crew after minimum training. Normal behaviour for legacy carrier pilots.

Has the airline actually flown any flights without cabin crew yet or is all of this possibly just hard line posturing?

How is this even remotely a possibility? In the event of an evac one of the pilots leaves the cockpit to run the doors?

I would image they wouldn’t be allowed into ICAO airspace with no cabin crew. If they told me that I was in charge of cabin safety as well I’d laugh in their face. What a joke.

They didn't really spell it out in this particular article very well (Shocker). As I understand it, they plan to have extra pilots that actually work the flight as Flight attendants while other pilots operate the flight. Definitely Scab-like behavior if you ask me.

LMAO. “Scab-like” is an understatement.

Well this all came to nothing. The company went back to the union and offered the original terms and the FA union signed it.
