I'm curious as to this video clip. Are these guy's messing around or is this the reason that the terms and conditions have finally been brought up to a reasonable standard. I understand that even with a full flight sim a new pilot still requires circuits over there, perhaps this is why.

Hey Tweet,
I'll check to see if the link still works. It's a strange, visual sort of low approach in a 74 that looks more like a gentle roller-coaster ride than anything else.
Hope you're doing well. If you sent me a PM, it never made it to me...
Cheers,
V

Yea, A mate of mine is going to HKG Express in the NG and has to do circuits, even though the NG sim is full flight. With that in mind I am kind of assuming that this is what is going on here. If one is as fast as this guy was then the 744 will sit in gnd effect for the duration, even at the height that they were at. And at some point, way too far down the runway, it looks like someone makes the decision to go around.
The new CEO is quite a serious guy from Lufthansa, and he appears to be taking the hiring of pilots very seriously indeed, with a good upgrade in P&C on the contract with the ability to commute, which is nice to see; these contracts should be getting better, not worse, so good on him.
