With those times and a type rating on the 320 I doubt you will need to go get a 330 type rating. Are you sure you want to work for Jet Airways and live in India though??

The transition from A320 to 330 is not hard at all so I would try and get in contact with them and take it from there. Regarding the 18000 usd and being based in the US, I am not sure. I know of a few guys who signed contracts and moved to India.

HAPPY FLYING

I am surprised to hear that a lot of the KING pilots are not happy. Good Luck.
With that PIC time in the Airbus you shouldn't have a problem.

Are there any JetAirways pilots commuting out of EWR? Seems like a long commute unless you can get the schedulers to hook you up.

We have a number of our B777 pilots taking LWOP and working at Jet. As I understand it the pay is something closer to ten thousand per month, and they are all based out of BRU.

Although I'm not at Jet Airways, a friend has the info on them as he's about to interview.

Pay is about 18K a month BEFORE TAX. Actual take home pay is around 13K (US$) and they do have the NY base for the North American guys. They are about to open a SFO base from what I hear so they can fly "'round the world". The SFO flying is to Shanghai and on to India.

It sounds like a good contract if you want to stay in N/A.

How do you even apply with them??? I logged on to their site twice and filled out the online application both times it stated that it could not be completed at this time.

I have 6000tt with very close to 3000 in the A320.

Thx.
