There are lots of Americans coming for DEC interviews though.

what are everybody's opinions of each aircraft?
i guess what i mean is.......what are the pros and cons of being on the 777 or the Airbus group?

While I agree with TP, you might consider that with an airline that is growing as much as Emirates, nothing stays the same for very long. 4 years ago, before the big expansion on the B777 fleet, the Airbus was the place to be for good rosters and trips. While the B777 fleet is big enough (and getting bigger) that I don't see "roster stagnation", I would expect that things will begin to look up on the Airbus once the 380's start to arrive in numbers and that when they start to take the A350's (2014 I believe) that may be the place for roster variety.

I also think that you might make a case for the Airbus fleet for upgrades. The expansion on the B777 will begin to tail off in 4 years while there will be a lot of movement on the Airbus with the arrival of the 380. Pilots hired onto the B777 fleet in the second half of this year may find themselves in the same position that Airbus FO's have been in these past 2 years - watching junior FO's on the other fleet getting their command before them.

Of course, you probably don't have too much choice on where they put you anyway.
