Hopefully none, I really don't think there's an issue. Regional airports in NZ just don't have the staff/money/time to scan every bag and every passenger.

It would drive up prices and cripple the regional travel pretty bad, plus the APLA said that it was low risk iirc

It's kind of nice to walk on to an aircraft the size of a Dash 8 or ATR and not have to go through the whole ridiculous process. This was a one time crazy lady who possibly could have been vetted at the counter. I hope it stay's the status quo as well. . . of course now that the top notch NZ journalists have gotten a hold of it all bet's are off.
