Any Hungarians?

Is there anybody who is actively flying in Hungary, or anybody at least from Hungary on this forum? I have a couple questions about acquiring Hungarian national license, but have not been able to get any contacts.

Thanks! :D

Yeah, but no idea about converting license except some basics like the 14 written exams. I wish to find more hungarian origin people here. Looks like not many of us ended up here. PM me if you want. Best Regards, G.G.

Hmm, so you do still have to go through 14 written exams to convert the licenses to Hungarian National? I know you do for JAA, but as far as I know Hungary is not apart of the JAA.. not yet anyways. I have looked on the Hungarian CAA website, but had not been able to find much info as there isnt an English version.

Reason is I was thinking about Wizzair, but they require either JAA or Hungarian National license. Have heard rumors of the conversion being simpler then the JAA, but have not been able to confirm that yet.

Hehe, I'm from Poland..

But you know how the saying goes: Polak Wegier dwa bratanki i do szabli i do szklanki.

In Hungarian I believe its: Magyar-Lengyel két jóbarát, együtt harcol, s issza borát. or so I heard :)
