I get the feeling I'm not the first guy to wonder this, but no one seems to have asked it.

Dubai is a Muslim country, and also has an unfavorable male/female ratio.

Can a single guy get laid in Dubai? I don't have a family or anything so I can easily pull chocks and move off to the Middle East, and financially it looks like a great move.

Ten years of no a** doesn't sound fun though.

If you can't get it there, just divy up your per diem to the working girls when you overnight in LHR, AMS, FRA, etc. I think this is the first time I've seen someone post a concern about flying for a major and not getting laid. I don't know about their flight attendants but doesn't the muslim culture pretty much dictate that the man runs every thing. I think you'll be fine.

If a single guy can't get laid in Dubai then he can't get laid anywhere.

You are kidding right? I flew for DHL out of Bahrain and it was an outright mad house in both Manama and Dubai mate. 3000 FA's in Bahrain and what, about 5000 in Dubai. You'd have to look like the elephant man.

What they wear in the clubs would shock some American liberals. It is not downtown Jeddah.

I flew out of bahrain for a year with the Navy.. Bahrain and Dubai have the absolute hotest women in the world! They are all models with the trimming done in all the right places.. very lonely and like aviators.. But after asking that question.. I still don't think you'll get laid :D Kidding.. good luck there.. I loved it

You must be hanging out in the wrong parts of DXB. I have seen plenty of hotties when I go there and not necessarily Russians

haha i was just warning the person who asked about russian hookers in dubai. I dont partake in that. But, I was actually pretty impressed with the social scene there. My brother is flying for EK now and definitly enjoys it, I spent a couple days with him in his company accomodations (20-some floor apartment building) on a pretty busy strip in Dubai. Real nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 2 balcony bachelor pad on the 19th floor. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops, and short drive to the mall and other places. The building is mostly cabin crew, with only a few pilots scattered here and there. When i stayed at his place, there were hot flight attendants running around all over the place, and several coming in to his apartment to hang out. As a single guy at EK, I dont see how you could have any problems meeting people. From what I understand, however, you might be unlucky enough to get put in a different apartment building that is a good 30 minutes away from the city center, which would suck for going out at night.
