The only way we do well out of SFO is to have feed. If it was not for the Star Alliance there would be no feed. If we did not have that then the one timers would dry up in short order. But flying through Auckland to get to Delhi is out, so it wouldn't work for us anyway.


Wish I could show the slide show that the fleet planning guy shows in upgrade classes. It is impressive when he shows the slide with an 8 hour circle around Dubai and how many people live inside that circle. It is close to 4 billion people. EK's hub is a perfect location for moving those people around from any one point in the circle to another side.

I'm just happy that in times of trouble there is an airline or two not only hiring, but increasing T&C's; it's good for all of us.

Bummer I couldn't commute. . . way too far. One unfortunate about our company is that it is around 20 years to the left seat of a heavy. Three sounds pretty good.
