usually the jobs for expats are for RATED CAP. on type. but you can look up for Qatar Airways - The world's 5-star airline, emirates, etihad, Singapore. They are some broker companies like www.parcaero.com Airline Pilot Jobs & Pilot Employment - Rishworth Aviation Recruitment Specialists and storm aviation, but the drill is the same...need time on type.

China is hiring, but I don't recommend it. Best

You can look at Direct Personnel, Brookfield Aviation, and GAP too. They represent some good airlines too. There may be overlap between various contractors representing the same carrier which provide slightly different pay and benefit packages... thus resears is required to see with contract will suit you.

With that kind of time the best you can hope for is a Second Officer postion. Word is there will be a rise in SO programs in the Middle East and some like Gulf Air and Qatar already have it where all you need is prior flight experience and a commercial license. Otherwise unless you have the ATP and at least 1000 hours of jet time, I don't think there are any places that will hire you straight into the right seat.

There are probably some CRJ Expat jobs out there. I think ANA has a feeder that flies them. Anything bigger, you'll need more time.

A friend of mine flies Dash-8s with them. The downside of turbo prop and/or fo positions overseas is that it's unlikely they'll upgrade you to jets or left seat.

What is ANA? I would not mind flying crj's. Is there more security overseas that we are talking about?

I'm not sure that it is ANA, I just know I have seen CRJ's in Narita. Could be a JAL feeder. I can see the paint job in my mind but can't see the name.

Edited to add: I should have clicked the Ibex site before I wrote this! Those are the guys.
