There is no sponsorship of residency for this job. And I will say that based on talk with the company, they will never entertain that option either. It just isn't on the table as something they want to even talk about.

There is no information on pay for the 787 vs 767 yet. No matter what, our pay needs to increase substantially to make this the job it should be. Until that happens, there are many, many other jobs out there that pay much, much better than here.

That is great news! Where does it say that the 787 is official? I see that the 787 will be introduced by 2020 in the Outlook section of the Crew webpage, is there anywhere else this great news is displayed?

The 787 is already official - AJX pilots will start operating them by next spring. Wait a couple of months for the new T&C's...I'll leave it at that for you all to ponder til the "official" announcement.

Anything new?
Any changes to T&C's coming? Upgrades still happening? I just sent out an email today requesting new info and hoping to get a late summer/early fall screening. I'm already JCAB licensed, so hoping it would go smoothly.
Looking at many options right now, but this is still a decent one.

What does the pay scale look like for a Captain after his first 5 year contract?

I see five year Captain on their website pays $17,511 a month.

Who's website do you see that on? I am looking at my employment agreement and I am an upgraded captain. 5th year on this contract is no where near that number. I am seeing $14,961 a month. I do not count commuting allowance as I take the c-class option.

I have been here for over 7 years and on year 3 for upgraded captain. After looking at what other airlines are paying captains I really question why I am still here. I can not in good conscious recommend this position to anyone any longer. I wish I could but not with the way the company is headed.
