Default International jumpseating on Air Canada

Anybody have any experience with jumpseating on Air Canada from Canada to Europe? I've heard they'll allow US pilots to jumpseat. Would they upgrade you to first class? Trying to jump from YYZ to ATH when it starts up in July

Normal AC policy is economy class for jumpseaters. You might get lucky with a nice crew who will upgrade you once the door shuts, although I didn't have any luck.
